DET-2 Theodolite
As a rugged, cost-effective theodolite, the Spectra Precision® DET-2 is a full-featured digital theodolite for general construction applications. The DET-2 is designed to provide you with accurate angle measurements and is an affordable, versatile and easy to use instrument with accessories that can help increase productivity when turning angles and setting elevations and lines.
Fully customizable, the DET-2 features programmable settings for horizontal angle resolution, 90-degree angle beep, vertical degrees or percent, and more to meet your preferred operating style or job. Keep operating costs low with the included rechargeable battery pack and charger. Downtime is eliminated if additional power is needed with the backup alkaline pack that holds four standard AA batteries.
The 2-inch angular accuracy of the DET-2 is accurate enough for any construction job and the display resolution can be tailored to the operator’s preferences for fast readings. A tilt sensor provides you with the highest level of accuracy and provides you with vertical axis compensation. This can be turned on or off depending on the job requirements. The DET-2 can help you eliminate errors and reduce eye fatigue with its dual LCD with extra large characters making it easy to see angle readings. The LCD is also backlit and with the telescope reticle makes it possible to work in low light conditions such as indoors and extended hours near dawn or dusk.
The DET-2 requires minimal training as well as quick to set up and easy to operate with its simple six button keypad. It also has a large suite of programmable settings to provide you with multiple options for various users and job requirements.
