Designed to meet the needs and budgets of owner operations and small to mid-sized contractors, the Trimble GCSFlex grade control system for excavators is easy to install in a couple of hours so you can be up and running quickly. Plus, no welding is required.
The GCSFlex is a rugged and reliable solution as it was designed for use in harsh construction site environments. With it, you will have increased reliability and maximum uptime. Additional sensors can be added later, making it easy to expand the systems capabilities as your business needs change and grow. The GCSFlex can also be upgraded to the GCS900 grade control system later so you can work with 3D designs and Trimble Connected Machine technology.
A color, graphical display is easy to use and features large icons and menu options for easy viewing and guidance to grade. The GCSFlex can be used to create an alignment and add a profile to create a simplified 3D design while you are in the field. Just use the on-screen templates. The GCSFlex can also provide you 3D guidance without the need for a 3D design model to be built.
The GCSFlex grade control system can be used on small and mid-sized excavators for a broad range of applications, including: trenching for underground utilities and pipelines, digging footers and basements, site prep on residential, commercial and industrial jobsites, building roads, and mass excavation.
GCSFlex can be configured multiple ways when used in conjunction with other Trimble products. Such configurations include:
- GPS Guidance with Wi-Fi Base when used with a MS972 GNSS Smart Antenna, SNM940 Connected Site® Gateway and SPS985 base station.
- GPS Guidance with remote corrections when used with a MS972 GNSS Smart Antenna, SNM940 Connected Site Gateways, and a Virtual Reference Station (VRS) network or Trimble Internet Base Station Service (IBSS).
- Laser Reference with Heading when used with the HS410 heading sensor.
- Laser reference when used with the Spectra Precision® GL700 series.
