Improve asphalt compaction operations and roll a more efficient surface with the premium system from Trimble®, the CCS900 Compaction Control System. With the CCS900 you can monitor the number of passes over an area, adjusting as you go to avoid over compaction with pass count mapping. The CCS900 uses wireless data sharing between compactors on the same job site to share compaction work in real-time. This way, operators know what areas have been completed and what areas still need compaction. More consistent compaction can be achieved this way and also reduce the amount of under- and over-compaction, improving surface quality and saving time and fuel.
The CCS900 is permanently installed to the compaction machines with a wiring harness and brackets to ensure an optimal fit and integration with the machine body. You can begin transferring compaction data back to office for analysis in VisionLink® when you use a CCS900 compaction control solution as these systems come ready to work with existing components and Connected Site®. The CCS900 can be installed on any asphalt compactor with either an open or enclosed cab. Available in three configurations, the CCS900 can work in a single or dual GNSS configuration with either a MS992 or MS972 Smart GNSS Antenna. The CCS900 can also be configured into a total station-based configuration with the MT900 Machine Target. The Trimble CB460 or CB450 control box and an optional in-cab printer for on-site documentation and sign-off purposes make up the in-cab components.
