The LOADRITE™ L2180 Wheel Loader scale is more than just an onboard scale. It provides you with an easy way to capture the information you need for your loading process while it actually takes place. The L2180 is designed to produce an accurate and consistent weight every time. Multi point weighing calculates weight multiple times during the lift cycle to ensure accurate weight for any lift speed.
The L2180 also calculates an accurate weight, regardless of the time of day, machine type, operator or temperature using proprietary FACT™ (Friction & Ambient Compensation Technology) software, ensuring you load right every time. FACT adjusts throughout the day to cope with environmental and machine changes that can affect weighing performance. Typical accuracy is between 0.3 and 1 percent.

The active tip-off function on the L2180 ensures exact target weights are achieved by allowing easy, quick and precise last bucket adjustment. An optional Ground Slope Compensation kit removes the obstacle of loading on ramps or benches.
The L2180 allows you to gain visibility into any loading operation for better management. Individual loads can be tracked by customer, truck number or job ID with the powerful and intuitive software. Setup is simple and can be configured to suit any operation, using up to five data lists of up to 1000 items. This data can be customized to match any process or operation, putting important decision-making information at your fingertips. You can also track daily totals and bucket counts for up to 100 differently-named types of material. Auto completion, an alphanumeric keypad and a multi-line display makes data selection simple. Reports can be produces in the cab using a LOADRITE print or with the LOADRITE MMS Software.
The intuitive interface of the L2180 makes training simple. Any operator will quickly become comfortable using the L2180, being more productive from the beginning while reducing your operator training costs and preventing errors.
The L2180 also allows you to establish the chain of responsibility by printing the operator name on every truck docket. This operator login feature restricts access to the scale to trained operators using individual access codes. A unique overload feature allows you to control loader maintenance costs by ensuring recommended operating limits are observed. This feature provides control of external safety and warning systems should the loader be used outside safe operating limits.
The L2180 also supports multiple attachments with the ability to store individual calibrations for up to five different attachments. Each attachment can be uniquely named so operators can easily select the correct calibration.
The L2180 provides you with several operating mode. Target loading allows you to eliminate mental arithmetic by counting down from the specified maximum load for a truck. Split loading allows you to load truck and trailer combinations to their maximum capacity. The Recall/Subtract function allows you to quickly fix operator error and handles weight adjustments. With programmable output you can set sensor readings and calculations to alert you to when specific events occur, such as overloading.
The L2180 comes with full operator training at the time of installation to ensure you get the maximum benefit from day one. This onboard scale is also designed to be tough and has been subject to a rigorous testing program that include temperature extremes (-130°F to 248°F) and all-axis random vibration over 40G.
