DG613

The compact and powerful Spectra Precision® Dg613 pipe laser was built for efficiency, accuracy and reliability when laying pipes. With a grade range from  – 12 percent to 40 percent, the DG613 is a fully self-leveling pipe laser over the entire grade range with even the cross axis fully compensated. This provides quick set up as well as peace of mind that the DG613 will be level without the need to adjust at the bottom of the invert. Plus, the length of the DG613 has been reduced to make it easier to set up in tight inverts in a manhole.

The DG613 provides full operation in a single set-up between manholes and over a distance of 500 feet. A new remote control, the RC803, provides full function control and uses infrared light in the pipe for up to 500 feet of control. The RC803 remote uses radio communications up to a distance of 430 feet for “over-the-top” set ups.

DG613 & DG813 User Guide

With NiMH rechargeable batteries you can get 40 hours of operating time, while alkaline batteries provide you with 50 hours. A separate battery pack is not necessary with the alkaline batteries as they can be used directly at the laser. A car charger is available for work in remote areas.

A large graphical user interface is easily seen when the laser is in a manhole and all functions are available via a menu that makes the DG613 easy to use. There is no secret button pressing required. The learning curve on the DG613 is short so anyone on your crew can use it with little to no training. The RC803 remote uses the same user interface as the DG613 as well.

The DG61 features advanced functions that make setting it up and using it easier and make it more accurate. The laser can shoot the beam upwards to align to the next manhole from a short, deep trench as the beam moves up to 100 percent in second with Line-set, check. The beam can quickly sweep from left and right as well as be stopped on target at the bulls-eye position using the remote control with Line Scan. The Dg613 automatically activates Line Alert once the grade and alignment are set, so that the user can be warned when the set up has been disturbed, helping you avoid costly errors and re-work.

The bright beam of the DG613 can easily be seen in the pipe and is enhanced with a patented target that bends the beam upwards. This makes it easy to see when looking down at the pipe and reduces the need to bend down to see the beam when in a trench or standing above a trench. The Dg613 can be mounted in pipes of any size from 6 inches and up with the multiple attachments available. Air is evenly circulated through the pipe to avoid refraction of the beam inside the pipe with an available blower.
