With Trimble® Field Systems, Business Center –HCE can help with data management and transfer, allowing you to effectively and seamlessly manage data going between the office, Site Controller software and Trimble machine and paving control technology. Business Center-HCE’s integration with Connected Community enables file sharing and data visualization.
The core product of Business Center – HCE is for field data transfers and is available as a free download from Trimble. This core offering makes managing your field data easier than ever before. Data can be transferred seamlessly to VisionLink® for fast and easy project monitoring, analysis and reporting. It supports most digital data imports and exports. This basic offering of Business Center – HCE also allows you to create road and rail corridor models. Data can be viewed in a variety of ways including in plan, profile, cross-section, 3D and spreadsheet views. You can also quickly and easily manipulate point cloud data.
Add-on to the free Field Data module to extend the functionality of the Business Center – HCE software to better meet your business needs. For Site Data managers and GPS managers, consider the Data Review module. The enhanced tools provided at this level give you the ability to select, create, edit and draft data and generate reports and plots or publish information.
The Data Prep module allows you to ensure data is clean, up-to-date and delivered in the right format to get the job done. This module allows you to import and clean up CAD data and uses CAD tools to trim, extend and offset lines. You can elevate contours, pads, lines and points with automated, high productivity elevating tools provided by the Data Prep module as well. Advanced surface modeling and edit tools are available for site projects and you can create earthworks models for grading as well as drill plans and tunnel models with Business Center – HCE’s Data Prep. From Adobe PDF vector files, you can extract line work data as well as import raster image files, which can be done in many formats.

The Trimble Business Center – HCE software requires the same system hardware requirements as other state of the art CAD system and although it will run on many minimum category systems for small data files, it is not recommended as you will find performance will quickly become unacceptable as data amounts increase.
