The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CCPA”), requires that we provide California residents with a privacy notice that contains a comprehensive description of our online and offline practices regarding the collection, use, disclosure, sale, sharing, and retention of personal information and of the rights of California residents regarding their personal information.
This Privacy Notice for California Residents (“CA Privacy Notice”) is intended solely for, applies only to, California residents. If you are not a California resident, this CA Privacy Notice does not apply to you and you should not rely on it.
The CCPA defines “personal information” to mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular California resident or household. For purposes of this CA Privacy Notice, we will refer to this information as “Personal Information.” Personal information does not include publicly available, de-identified or aggregated information or lawfully obtained, truthful information that is a matter of public concern.

Categories of Information We Collect
We currently collect and, in the 12 months prior to the “Last Updated Date” of this CA Privacy Notice, have collected the following categories of information, which includes some Personal Information:
- Identifiers (such as name, alias, postal address, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, account name, Social Security number, home address, postal address, phone number (including mobile phone number), bank account number, and other similar identifiers either alone or correlated with each other)
- Unique personal identifiers (device identifier; cookies, beacons, pixel tags, mobile ad identifiers, or other similar technology)
- other types of state identification cards, such as driver’s license information
- Telephone number, including mobile numbers
- Signature
- Insurance policy number
- Serial number of equipment
- Internet or other electronic network activity information (browsing history; search history; and information regarding consumer’s interaction with website, application or advertisement)
- Geolocation data
- Commercial information (records of personal property, products or services purchased, obtained or considered; other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies; or other commercial information)
- Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information
We collect Personal Information directly from California residents and from equipment manufacturers, and we might also collect it from SITECH’s business affiliates or contractors, credit reference agencies, public databases, advertising networks, internet service providers, data analytics providers, government entities, operating systems and platforms, and/or social media platforms and networks.
Purposes for Collecting Personal Information
In addition to the purposes listed in the “HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION” section of our Website Privacy Statement, we collect the above categories of Personal Information for the following business purposes:
- Auditing related to counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying positioning and quality of ad impressions, and auditing compliance with this specification and other standards
- sending text/SMS messages related to customer satisfaction surveys, equipment repairs, events (with your prior consent or RSVP) and in some cases, marketing or promotional content. To opt out of text messages, please reply STOP when you receive one of them.
- Helping to ensure security and integrity to the extent the use of your Personal Information is reasonably necessary and proportionate for these purposes
- Short-term, transient use, including, but not limited to, non-personalized advertising shown during your current interaction with us
- Performing services, including maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing financing, or providing similar services
- Sending or displaying advertising and marketing content relevant to you – to opt out, please click the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link at the bottom of on SITECH West’s primary website.
- Undertaking internal research for technological development and demonstration
- Advancing our commercial or economic interests, such as encouraging another person to buy, rent, or lease products or goods or enabling or affecting, directly or indirectly, a commercial transaction with us
Selling, Sharing, or Disclosing of Personal Information
The CCPA defines “sale” as the transfer of Personal Information for monetary or other valuable consideration. Although we do not “sell” Personal Information as that term may be commonly interpreted, we engage in online activities that may qualify as “sharing” Personal Information under California law. This may include showing you advertisements on other websites and providing analytics on our Site.

Why Do We Share Personal Information with Third Parties?
We disclose Personal Information to the third parties in the table above for all of purposes listed in the “HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION” section of our Website Privacy Statement, as well as in the Purposes for Collecting Personal Information section above.
Personal Information Related to Children
Our website and services are intended solely for users aged 13 and older. We do not direct our content, services, or marketing to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a user is under 13 and that personal information has been collected, we will promptly delete such information.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please see the section. We will verify your request and promptly delete the information.
Sensitive Personal Information
We do not collect or process sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about individuals or use sensitive personal information for purposes other than those allowed by the CCPA and its regulations.
Retention of Personal Information
We retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collect it, such as providing you with the service or product you have purchased, and for the purpose of satisfying any legal, accounting, contractual, or reporting requirements that apply to us.
Your Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights with respect to your Personal Information:
- the right to know what Personal Information we have collected about you, including the categories of Personal Information, the categories of sources from which we collected Personal Information, the purpose for collecting, selling or sharing Personal Information (to the extent applicable), the categories of third parties to whom we disclose Personal Information (if applicable), and the specific types of Personal Information we collected about you;
- the right to delete Personal Information that we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
- the right to correct inaccurate Personal Information that we maintain about you;
- if and to the extent we share Personal Information, the right to opt out of the sharing;
- if and to the extent we use or disclose sensitive Personal Information for purposes other than those allowed by the CCPA and its regulations, the right to limit our use or disclosure; and
- the right not to be subject to discriminatory treatment by us for the exercise of your privacy rights.
How to Submit a Request to “Know, Delete, and/or Correct” Personal Information

If you are submitting a request on behalf of a California resident, please submit the request through one of the designated methods discussed above. After submitting the request, we will require additional information to verify your authority to act on behalf of the California resident.
Our Process for Verifying a Request to Know, or Delete, and/or Correct Personal Information
We will comply with such requests after we verify your identity and, if applicable, the identity of the California resident on whose behalf you are making such request. To do so, we will ask you to verify data points based on information we have in our records.
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing of Personal Information
If you are a California resident, you have the right to direct us to stop sharing your Personal Information. As explained above, the CCPA defines “sale” as the transfer of Personal Information for monetary or other valuable consideration. Although we do not “sell” Personal Information as that term may be commonly interpreted, we engage in online activities that may qualify as “sharing” Personal Information under California law

This Site recognizes the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signal. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) Notice

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Accordingly, we have no obligations under California Civil Code § 1798.83.
